Ciro joined A Rocha Peru in March 2019 as a Field Assistant for the Dry Forest La Libertad Project and became a Projects and Programs Officer in 2020. In 2024, he took on the role of Project Coordinator for the Dry Forest La Libertad Project, but during that same year, he took a break from the organization. In 2025, he returns to A Rocha Peru as the Amazon Project Coordinator, bringing his experience and renewed dedication.
Ciro is a licensed and certified Environmental Engineer from César Vallejo University – Chiclayo, with experience in coordinating and managing environmental projects. He has worked on forest inventory in the Porcón Farm in the Cajamarca region and on identifying the normalized vegetation index in the Olmos polygon. Additionally, he has completed pre-professional internships at the Executive Directorate of Environmental Health and the Municipality of José Leonardo Ortiz.
He is currently pursuing a specialization in Environmental Management for Sustainable Development at the National Agrarian University La Molina. For Ciro, A Rocha Peru represents the ideal place to connect with nature and serve others.
