Project Coordinator

Ciro joined A Rocha Peru in March 2019 as Field Assistant for La Libertad Dry Project, and became the Project and Program Development Officer in 2020. In 2024, Ciro became Project Coordinator for La Libertad Dry Forest Project. During that same year, Ciro took a period away from the organization. In 2025, he returns to A Rocha Peru as the Project Coordinator for the Amazon Project, bringing renewed commitment and expertise to the role. Ciro is a graduate in environmental engineering from the University Cesar Vallejos in Chiclayo, and has experience in forestry inventory (Porcon Farm, Cajamarca Department) and the identification of vegetation indices (Poligonal Olmos). Ciro has also completed practical placements in the areas of environmental health and with local government. For Ciro, A Rocha Peru provides the perfect opportunity to focus on his mission to support nature and assist others.
